In the North Caucasus, this industry is actively developing in each of the seven regions, which determines the relevance of the problem under consideration. The article deals with a constructive experience in government planning, programming and design of the development of tourism in the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD) regions, ensuring the consolidation of efforts of state, business and society, coordinated the work of all public institutions in the context of tourist policy at the state and regional levels, and provides analysis of the development of tourism in some regions of the NCFD. The result is a clear picture of the role of the state in the development of this industry both at the regional and Federal levels, which led to the conclusion that the systematic nature of the development of tourism and related industries provides for coordinated work of all public structures within the framework of tourism policy at the state and regional levels.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>State support in the resort destination plays a key role in the development of the entire tourism sector in Russia.
