Humanity has been thinking about the problems of sustainable development throughout this time. Scientists around the world are working on the concept and models of sustainable development, including sustainable tourism. These studies were especially relevant for the old-developed territories. The purpose of the article is to develop a model for sustainable tourism development in the old-developed territories. In the study, the concept is considered from the point of view of weak, strong and supportive sustainable tourism development. The author examines the concept from the point of view of weak, strong and supportive sustainable development of sustainable tourism. Factors of sustainable tourism, regardless of the approach, to varying degrees take into account the state of the environmental, economic, social and political spheres, because without political stability, the sustainable development of the other three spheres is impossible. The author considered the existing models of sustainable tourism development and proposed a model that reflects the ranking of sustainable development factors, depending on the degree of sustainability of environmental, economic and social spheres. The paper also notes what factors should be emphasized at the stage of weak sustainability when considering the old-developed territories in the model of sustainable tourism.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The world has been feeling the threat of an economic crisis for 50 years.
