However, according to the results of numerous studies, digital competencies and digital literacy of Russian citizens leave much to be desired. This necessitates the search for ways to solve this problem. At the same time, one of these possibilities is the use of the appropriate state ideology and methods of motivation both at the level of organizations and at the level of individual subjects. Promotion of the value of training and the use of incentive influence on the personnel of organizations play an important role in this. Organizations of vocational education act as the main subjects to which federal standards prescribe the development of the necessary skills and competencies in students. Their task is to implement a digital educational process that will allow not only theoretically, but also practically solving the problem of developing digital competencies. The article presents the author&amp;#39;s vision of the problem and the model of motivating staff to master digital competencies and develop the digital educational process, reflecting the main content of the work in this direction.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The formation and development of digital competencies today is an urgent task, since in modern conditions only if they are available, successful life of citizens and the formation of a competitive national economy are possible.
