The organizational, economic and financial mechanisms of SEZ activity were improved. A repeated reform of the legislation regulating creation and work of SEZ has made a stimulating impact on production, allowed to integrate goods into domestic market, and also to provide additional workplaces. The next step in the development of SEZ in Kazakhstan is the creation of economic zones of cluster type on the territory of the country. A symbiosis of opportunities of cluster policy and provisions of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on special economic zones will make a powerful impact on the industrial and innovative development of the country.
