A relatively new trend in the market of applications for travelers are audio guides &amp;ndash; a convenient option for independent exploration of city attractions. The existing mobile applications on the market have flaws. However, compared with their traditional rivals mobile audio guides have several advantages. Unlike with paper guidebooks, you can listen to an audio guide with pleasure seeing the sights with full freedom of movement. The Russian market of mobile audio guides is not yet very saturated. The main trend is that people are more interested in a quality product. Belgorod Literary Museum is the first in the region that began providing audio tours using mobile applications. Many citizens and guests of the city note the historic attraction of Belgorod thanks to The Open Air Museum Project. Mobile applications are a tool for tourism development and attraction of investments.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The main trend of tourism development is the development of applications for mobile phones. 20% of such applications are the apps in the field of tourism.
