This paper discusses the problems and prospects of development of the tourism cluster in the region. The questions of the use of geographic information systems for the management of tourist and recreational complex. We consider typing recreational areas of the Belgorod region, taking into account the recreational needs of the population and species recreational activities at loci tourist and recreational systems.
