A package of sightseeing itineraries "Medicinal Plants of Belgorod Region" was designed on the basis of the Botanical Garden of Belgorod State National Research University. The package was included into the programme of garden therapy aimed at rehabilitation of people with disabilities. The authors analyzed the spectrum of medicinal plants represented in the collection of the Botanical Garden, and assessed their potential use in botanical therapy. Part of the excursion takes place on the geomagnetic ecological trail built on the grounds of the Botanical Garden. Each of the excursions involves a review of medicinal plants possessing certain properties, the story about the peculiarities of growing, harvesting, and use of conventional and traditional medicine. The routes were designed specially for disabled people, but they also can be used by visitors who want to get some information about local medicinal plants.
