The author mentions the specific features of interrelation of the processes of offers formation designed to satisfy consumer demand for real estate and investment proposals which could be of interest to potential investors and final consumers of the reconstructive and construction sector. Attention is drawn to the need to expand the forms of satisfaction of housing needs to improve housing affordability. It is emphasized that the markets of affordable rental housing ensure a flexible reaction to the changing demographic structure and the structure of incomes of the population. Analyzing the characteristics of functioning of the modern market of housing reproduction in the Russian Federation, the author points to the need for further development of market mechanisms and tools that ensure the efficiency and reliability of investments in housing construction and the reconstruction of the housing fund in accordance with consumer and investment demand</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article examines some topical issues of development of reconstructive and construction activities on the formation of market supply in the housing market of the Russian Federation.
