USE OF DATABASES IN PROMOTION OF TOURIST TERRITORIE

In the current socio-economic conditions, tourism represents a traditional area where there is an active use of information technologies. The available information is used for the formation of tourist maps, information booklets, printed information products.

A characteristic feature of the tourism industry is the presence of a large number and variety of information flows, accompanied by the need for updating and the presence of a high degree of exchange operations. Information interaction is present among all participants of the tourist market. Particular attention is given to information that is intended for potential tourists. All this is a necessary characteristic of the tourist product and the provision of comprehensive information to tourists, which can be accumulated by databases.
