THE PROSPECTS OF ORGANIZING ACTIVITIES OF THE CENTRE FOR EVALUATION OF STAFF DEVELOPMENT OF THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY IN KALININGRAD REGION
The author substantiates the necessity of setting up a center for assessing the qualifications of the hospitality industry on the basis of the Association of the Hospitality Industry Enterprises of Kaliningrad region. Another positive aspect that emphasizes the relevance of this direction is the fact that on December 22, 2017, an agreement was signed under which the Center for Evaluation of Qualifications in the Hospitality Industry was established on the basis of the Union of Young professionals (WorldSkills). Graduates of colleges, technical schools and universities, taking a demo exam according to WorldSkills standards, will also undergo an independent qualification assessment. 10 regions, 28 educational institutions, and 395 participants were announced for the demo exam according to WorldSkills standards for 2018 as part of the independent qualification assessment. In 27 educational institutions, the demo exam will be held within the framework of the state final examination, in one institution, the exam will be held within the framework of the interim evaluation. There are 6 competencies in the list of professional disciplines: tourism, restaurant service, cooking and confectionery, bakery, hotel management.
