Crisis management in the tourism industry
Abstraсt. The current state of the world tourism industry is characterized as a crisis, which requires deep analysis and the development of anti-crisis solutions that correspond to the real situation. This is the deepest and most serious crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in recent years. All forecasts about the further progressive development of tourism turned out to be untenable due to objective reasons. Many of the factors that led to the suspension of international movements of citizens are due to the need to comprehensively combat the pandemic and preserve the life and health of people. In these conditions, anti-crisis management measures should be developed at all levels of tourism management. The relevance of this study is due to the fact that the development of measures to overcome crisis phenomena seems to be very important, these actions should be systemic and complex. Based on the analysis of the current situation in the tourism sector, directions were identified related to anti-crisis measures to support the tourism business in the context of the global crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is shown that the tourism industry, both world and Russian, is in a deep crisis, which is generated by external factors, many of which are very difficult to eliminate objectively. The result of the study was a systematic consideration of anti-crisis measures that the state is taking to support the national tourism industry. The ways of overcoming the crisis at the level of individual enterprises of the tourism industry are shown.
