INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES AS A FACTOR OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGIONAL TOURISM SECTOR

Radical reforms of the entire system of social and economic relations in the country have led to the destruction of the existing system of management of economic sectors, including tourism and recreational economy. The traditional methodological approaches to the development of strategic management at various levels will not be able to meet the challenges of the modern period, they require new forms and methods of management, effective in market conditions and dynamically changing factors of internal and external environment. In this regard, the formation of qualitatively new principles of management of the regional tourist and recreational complex is particularly topical and practically significant. In the days of widespread computerization and informatization of all tourist companies and agencies, firms abroad and the vast majority of Russian enterprises are used as a source of information in the international computer network Internet. Using information technologies in the tourism sector enables users to easily find information on the conditions of rest, prices, services, more detailed information about the organization. Modern computer technologies are actively introduced in the tourism business, and their application is becoming an essential condition for improving competitiveness of all tourism enterprises as well as the tourist and recreational complex in the region.
