AGROTURISM IN THE SYSTEM OF THE WORLD TOURISM MARKET
Agrotourism takes a special place in the system of the modern world tourist market. Today it is considered to be one of the leading and actively developing sectors of the tourist market. Many researchers attribute this to the growing awareness of the society of environmental problems, an increase in man-made strain on society, growing urbanization and other factors. The article makes an attempt to examine the evolution of agrotourism and to identify the factors that have the most significant influence on its development. The comparative characteristic of agrotourism development in different countries is given. The analysis made it possible to conclude that the tendency of the active growth of agro-tourism will continue for quite a long time, including due to the involvement of more and more countries and regions, including Russia, in this sphere. A wide variety of natural, agricultural, ethnographic, cultural and other resources of rural Russia allows us to create a competitive tourist product on the basis of an optimal combination of price and quality. Large flows of unorganized tourists indicate the availability of demand for tourist resources in rural areas, which, unfortunately, is not confirmed by the presence of a significant demand for the corresponding tourist products. The article outlines the priority measures that can accelerate the development of agro-tourism in the Russian Federation.
