STEM approach in professional training of specialists in the field of tourism
When teaching courses within the framework of training specialists for the tourism sector, the integration of practical courses is an important factor in developing students' ability to use knowledge and solve practical problems. Based on the STEAM concept, combined with the direction of training specialists in the field of tourism, the article explores the problems existing in the teaching of practical disciplines in the field of training 43.03.02 "Tourism", using the example of the Higher School of Spatial Development and Hospitality of the I. Kant Baltic Federal University and suggests measures to improve the teaching of practical disciplines, hoping to contribute to the high-quality development of the tourism industry.
