Glamping as a modern trend in tourism
This study is devoted to the issue of creating non-standard recreation formats and new trends in the recreational tourism sector. The authors believe that such innovations include glamping, as one of the most popular and popular tourist accommodation facilities in nature. The integration of glamping into ecologically clean landscapes with unique natural conditions makes it possible to widely use them in organizing various types of tourism with a very large target audience. In matters of the concept of sustainable development of the territory in the field of modern tourism, preference is given to glamping as glamorous means of accommodation and recreation in ecologically clean areas. The purpose of the article is to reveal glamping as a modern trend in tourism, since this direction is new in tourist activity and is positioned as a unique accommodation facility. Empirical and theoretical methods made it possible to collect, systematize and summarize material on this problem, on the basis of which a variant of the definition of "glamping" was proposed as a means of accommodation located in the wild, near natural objects or in rural areas with a wide range of services and increased comfort. Summarizing the Russian and foreign experience of using these accommodation facilities in tourism, conclusions were drawn about the demand for glamping by different target audiences and the expediency of using such a format of accommodation, taking into account the possibility of their location in untouched nature. The typological method of the study made it possible to classify glamping according to the features of the types of structures, which made it possible to identify the distinctive features of this accommodation facility from camping. The article provides a regional analysis of the leaders in the number of these accommodation facilities, and also presents glamping of the Republic of Mordovia. The study reflects the problems of glamping development, the main of which is the imperfection of the legislative framework, as well as bureaucratic and political issues of their placement on the territory of nature reserves and national parks, where the issue of glamping infrastructure construction in the designated territories is acute. As for the prospects of glamping construction, they can be built almost from scratch in any place and climate, focusing on the development of modular and non-capital accommodation facilities, avoiding problems associated with the lack of accommodation facilities in the country, taking into account their own form of accreditation and classification, which will be a promising opportunity to promote the glamping tourism industry in Russia.
